Combined Billing Service FAQs

Does Vision receive a percentage of commission for billing a carrier's product(s)?
No, Vision Financial charges the carrier a one-time implementation fee to set up a carrier's product(s) on the billing system. There is also a monthly administrative fee charged to the carrier on a per coverage basis.

How long does it take to get up and running with Vision for billing administration?
With a dedicated team at Vision Financial and at the carrier, implementation of a product(s) on Vision Financial's billing system requires an average of 6 weeks.

Can Vision simply take a hard copy list bill that an employer might receive from an insurance carrier and include those policies in a combined list bill?
No, Vision Financial prefers to work with each carrier individually and directly to receive an electronic file to establish participation data in the Combined Billing Network (CBN) system. Additionally, as a TPA, Vision Financial is required to have an administrative agreement with all carriers for whom we perform billing and premium collection services.
